AluMag successfully organized the first ¡®Automotive Lightweight Procurement Symposium¡¯ on the 5-7 October 2014 in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The symposium, the first of its kind, brings together the procurement and supply side of lightweight materials and their advanced processes (aluminium, carbon, composites, high strength steel, magnesium and thermoplastics) along with cost balance or reduction. It is aimed at procurement executives who are part of the lightweight supply chain as well as technical sales managers seeking to understand the synergy of cost/weight reduction programs.
The next Automotive Lightweight Procurement Symposium will be held on the 6-8 July 2015 in Shanghai, China, and on the 9-11 November 2015 in Detroit, USA.
